I’m all about providing real solutions, support, and guidance for individuals who are serious and ready to take charge of their lives. That’s it. We can have fun along the way, or we can be bored - the main thing is, we will work together and get the job done.
I specialize in evidence based treatment for women with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, PTSD, personality disorders as well as marital therapy for couples; but I’m not exclusive. My clients vary greatly, consistent with my belief that no two people are the same, no two problems are the same, and no two solutions are the same.
Just a few technical details about my background ;)
I’m a proud graduate of Rutgers University, class of 2010. There are many people I admire in the mental health field, and I have made it my priority to learn from some of the best. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) through Behavioral Tech since 2012, and I receive ongoing consultation and maintain a close connection with Dr. Adam Payne. I have completed Prolonged Exposure in PTSD under Edna Foa from the University of Pennsylvania and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with Esther Deblinger. I am a certified Shalom Workshop presenter, where I teach relationship skills to engaged and married couples. My work experience includes 6 years in LCSC, a community mental health outpatient clinic. In 2012, I co-founded DBT LifeSkills, a boutique private practice where I provided individual therapy, phone coaching, and lead DBT skill groups.
I currently maintain a private practice in New Jersey. When I am not in session, I enjoy spending time with my most challenging clients – my husband and four adorable children.
